Responsibilities:
1.Performs Unix administration tasks
2.Monitors the overall site availability and performance
3.Installs, maintains, upgrades, configures and supports Unix hardware and software including installing the Solaris operating system
4.Maintains the hardware and operating system(s) at the latest patch release
5.Writes and maintains/enhancing shell scripts
6.Implements storage plans at operating system level and database level
7.Monitors overall site capacity and performance
8.Performs backup and recovery administration at operating system level and database level
9.Ensures all systems and databases are available 24x7
10.Recommends NOC enhancements
11.Work as part of a team and provide 7x24 support when required
Requirements:
1.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
2.Minimum 2 years work experience in Unix administration environment
3.Knowledge of BMC Patrol, Netcool and HP Openview
4.NOC experience preferred
5.Medium level of troubleshooting skills for all commonly used routing protocols
6.Knowledge of Solaris operating system
7.Knowledge of Sun/Veritas Volume Manager
8.Knowledge of backup/recovery administration at operating system level as well as Oracle Knowledge of shell scripting
9.Must be self-motivated with strong sense of ownership
10.Excellent Korean written and verbal communications skills
11.Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills
12.May be required to travel.
