a. Main Purpose of the Role and Key Responsibilities:
• Acts as a test architect in all test phases: test planning, test design, test execution, test reporting and documentation
1 Defines needed test phases and makes sure sufficient coverage of testing is met with cost optimised manner
2 Does the work effort estimations
3 Organises reviews and inspections
4 Does the test tool feasibility studies for the new HW testing projects
5 Does the testability requirement definition for the new HW testing projects
6 Defines and follows testing time schedules and phases of an own test project
7 Follows and reports test execution progress of an own test project, prioritises tests if needed
8 Follows and reports fault status progress of an own test project, prioritises problems if needed
9 Manages release specific investment needs of an own project: tools, HW and SW
10 Attends and follows internal HW development project meetings, meets the milestone schedules of the development project
11 Maintains own project statuses in the wiki page.
12 Knowledge sharing and support in his/her expertise area

Key Responsibilities:
? Act as technical responsible in FPGA development phases: Design specification/architecture, implementation and simulation, product documentation elaboration, test bench preparation, verification, Test on board and corrections and Product Maintenance.

Job Requirements:
? To lead and conduct complete FPGA design flow and tools with VHDL
? Select FPGA chip balancing design cost and product life cycle
? Skilled of version control tool and team work
? Capable to write up specifications / block definition of FPGA and sub-function blocks
? 5+ years work experience in FPGA design area
? The experts are also required to have HW design know-how: 32/64-bits architecture, Peripheral devices: SDRAM (DDR/DDR2), SRAM, Interfaces and buses: Ethernet, SATA, PCI/PCI-e, UTOPIA/POS/SPI, USB, etc.
? Experience in TDM/SDH/Package/High speed interface can be a plus

Key Responsibilities:
? Act in HW development phases including HW implementation, product documentation elaboration, test and corrections and product maintenance.

Job Requirements:
? 3+ years experience taking responsibility in board level HW design. At least take main responsibility of one board to production.
? Expect to be skilled in one or more of following areas: Processors: PPC CPU, x86 CPU, 32/64-bits architecture, Peripheral devices: SDRAM (DDR/DDR2), SRAM, Bridges, Controllers (PCI, Ethernet, USB, and ATA), Interfaces and buses: Ethernet, SATA, PCI/PCI-e, UTOPIA/POS/SPI, and Hyper-Transport, CAD design (capture, analysis, and layout).

? The experts are also required to have High Frequency design know how: High-speed design, signal integrity analysis, PCB technologies, EMC/EMI.

Job Requirements:
? Solid knowledge of at least one of the following telecom technology: mobile network (2G, 3G), SONET/SDH, ATM and Ethernet.
? Strong background of RTOS (Linux is preferred).
? 2+ years of hands-on experience on firmware /device driver development on Datacom / Telecom equipment, such as DSP, SDH Framer/LIU; Ethernet PHY/switch chips, etc.
