Company introduction: Our client is a worldwide manufacturer of precision control components and system. They have high performance actuation products control military and commercial aircrafts, satellites and space vehicles, launch vehicles and missiles, and automated industrial machinery. In light of their business growing in Asia, they are now looking for an Application Engineer in their Taiwan branch.

Job Description:
Report To: Sales Manager ¨C Singapore
Location: TaiwanTaibei
1.Work as an Application Engineer, reporting to the Sales Manager, Singapore.
2.Provide field support, facilitates technical discussion with customers on technical issues.
3.Improve customer satisfaction by providing prompt technical support.
4.Field service, trouble shooting mainly on site job.
5.Design & develop hydraulic and electro-mechanical based control & actuation solutions for machine control applications, in particular for injection molding applications.
6.Work effectively with members of the both Engineering and Sales Group and with regional and international engineering resources on major projects.
7.Understand and adopt the established processes to effectively deliver motion control solutions, contributing to the effective execution of projects, and where appropriate, taking responsibility for the technical leadership & management of projects.
8.Live and work in Taiwan. Business trips within Asia, primarily to Singapore can be expected.

Job Requirements:
1.Mechanical, Hydraulic or Electrical related engineering Degree qualification.
2.At least 5 years experiences in Mechanical and Electrical machine supplier or industry.
3.Significant experience of designing hydraulic or electro-mechanical based motion control systems, preferably with experience of designing high frequency & fatigue rated systems.
4.Ability to effectively communicate with local customers & international team members in a global project environment.
5.Should be knowledgeable & comfortable discussing technical requirements with customers in Taiwanese & English, and should be able to interpret customers¡¯ requirements to design hydraulic and electro-mechanical systems.
6.Strong problem solving skills, ability to make sound technical and commercial proposals.
7.Energetic, self-motivated, team player but independent decision making ability.
8.Fluent in Taiwanese Mandarin, able to converse and read/write English
9.Familiar with motion control software, (IEC61131) programming languages, and industrial field busses such as CAN BUS, PROFI BUS, SERCOS.
10.Familiar with motors and drives, preferably through experience with electrical IM machines.
